“It is never late to ask yourself ‘Am I ready to change my life, am I ready to change myself?'.
However old we are, whatever we went through, it is always possible to be reborn.

Every breath is a chance to be reborn." - Shams Tabrizi

I was listening to a program on the radio today and they were talking about people who somewhat bragged about never really having any struggles in their life or major life experiences and how it makes them seem shallow. It got me to thinking about the people in my life and their struggles and experiences and those who barely had any do seem somewhat shallow in the sense that they don’t embrace life and it’s events the same way that someone who has been through a lot and knows the value of a minute. Those same people also lack compassion when it comes to certain issues and can’t seem to really deal with their feelings or relationships the way they should be dealt with as opposed to someone who has seemingly been through so much and can voice their feelings without shame or embarrassment because life is too short to hide feelings and emotions when it comes to relationships.

I’m not sure if this makes sense to anyone else but it makes sense in my mind and I just needed to write this out to out and see if anyone had the same thoughts or comments on this?

sn: I am not saying people who haven’t experienced major life issues or struggles are shallow and vice versa
